Aai Necklace

Aai Necklace is a contemporary expression of motherhood with a play of negative and positive space. The pendant features the word Aai meaning mother in Marathi. It is thoughtfully designed with a tiny heart nestled along the curve of the letter “अ". This heart symbolises the fetus in the womb, while the Marathi letter “अ" itself beautifully resembles a pregnant belly, carrying a second, deeper meaning of creation and nurture. 

The piece serves as a gentle reminder of the nine months a mother carries her child and the eternal bond they share. Paired with a classic link chain, the piece balances strength and softness beautifully.
